Born in Flushing, Queens, Mom’s Couch Comedy is a monthly standup comedy show that aims to bring comedy to Eastern Queens. It aims to bring NYC’s best comics to Flushing through local collaboration.
Second Show: Organized collaboration with Sabrina Wu to sell 95 tickets. Marketing content included video and posters.
Third show: Sold 30/30 tickets on a Wednesday
Worked with Social Hearts Club to sell 35/40 tickets, a 16% increase from the last show, raising $1400 ($700 matched) for Games For Change
Charity event opened up opportunity for a new venue, sold 20/30 tickets first noncollaborative show in a new borough.
Sold 35/35 tickets by utilizing collaboration with local newspapers and local storefront advertising.
Sold 30/35 tickets despite summer slump and only one week of prep.
